The special feature of Bioterme is its thermo-mineral water, which comes from two deep wells:
The water temperature at the spring is between 42 °C and 51 °C.
The water is pure, free of impurities, hyperthermic and of high quality. Its chemical composition is rich in sodium, potassium and bicarbonate. Its stable mineral structure is the result of natural geological processes in the deep layers of the Pannonian Basin.
The healing effects of thermo-mineral water are defined and validated in Decision No 1612-9/2009/13 of the Ministry of Health on the declaration of a natural medicinal product, issued by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Slovenia.
The study on the medicinal effects was carried out by Prof. Janez Kraševec, MD, specialist in balneology.
