NOTICE ON VIDEO- SURVEILLANCE in Segrap, Ltd, Glavni trg 13, Ljutomer
This notice contains main information concerning the Segrap Ltd video surveillance system and is used for informational purposes only. Video surveillance is more specifically regulated in the Global SOP Video-surveillance Monitoring and Video Surveillance Policy.

Camera locations and video-recording angles are determined on the basis of a risk analysis, ensuring that cameras point only the most relevant locations inside and outside the building, such as main and side entrance and some high-profile areas (technical part) that require additional security.
Using our video surveillance is essential to manage and management of business activity (for protection, security and approach control), as established in the decision on introduction of the video surveillance system and appointment of the authorized worker for video surveillance from 6 March 2023.
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation EU 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals in the processing of personal data and on the free flow of such data and on the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC), the video surveillance may be performed only with a purpose that is necessary and justified for the protection of persons and property, if the interests of the person being recorded do not prevail, which are in conflict with the processing of the data.
In light of the above, Segrap Ltd has a lawful ground and a clear set of procedures for its video-surveillance system.
Data collected: recorded materials (digital recordings with recorded time, date and location).
Purpose: Segrap d.o.o. operates a video surveillance system for the purpose of ensuring: safety, protection and control of business buildings and premises, as well as the protection and safety of employees, visitors, property, archives and documents located or stored on the premises of Segrap d.o.o. The purpose of the system is also to prevent and manage incidents and at the same time prevent their occurrence. With the help of the system, if necessary, it is possible to collect the necessary elements for carrying out investigations into excesses and analyzing possible dangers.
Purpose restriction: Segrap does not control the area due to invasion of privacy. Control is limited to the smallest possible scope. The system is not used to monitor employee work or attendance. The system is also not used as a tool for investigative or enforcement procedures unless it is a security incident or a crime.
Who has access to the data: Segrap director Miran Blagovič, assistant director Nenad Blagovič and technical director Janez Rožmarin.
Inspection and transfer of data: Information collected within the video surveillance system may be forwarded to the security, judicial and law enforcement authorities of the Republic of Slovenia for the purposes of investigations or prosecution of crimes. All transfers and disclosures outside Segrap d.o.o. are documented and subject to a strict assessment of the necessity of such a transfer.
Technical and physical measures are constantly being introduced to guarantee system security and data protection. Access to video surveillance recordings and/or the technical structure of the system is limited to authorized persons, who are permitted access in accordance with their authorizations.
Recorded materials are kept for a maximum of 3 months. If the recording needs to be kept for further investigation or as evidence of a security incident, it can be kept for as long as the investigation lasts, but for a maximum of ten years.
The Segrap Ltd may be contacted for any questions relating to the video surveillance system and processing of the personal data. Citizens have the right to inspect their personal data and to correct and complete them under certain conditions indicated in the Act on the Protection of Personal Data and the Rules on Video Surveillance. Every individual has the right to recourse a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia at e-mail address: gp@ip-rs.si, if he believes that the company Segrap Ltd violated his rights from the General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data and the Personal Data Protection Act.
